Job Description
EBS is seeking an Assistant Estimator to support the Estimating Department with bid preparation, cost estimates, bid documents and management of document distribution.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Estimate and compile overall project costs.
Procure subcontractor agreements
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
Collaborate in value engineering with project owners, architects and engineers
Prepare quantity take-offs
Aid project teams in procuring materials
Sending Bid invitations and Maintaining Bid Software
Preparing bid forms for review.
Qualifications:
3-5 years estimating or related experience
Ability to thoroughly interpret technical construction documents (i.e. drawings, specifications, contracts, etc.)
General knowledge of construction software (i.e. Procore, Primavera, Autodesk, etc.)
