**Description:**
The **Assistant Director of Engineering** plays a key leadership role in the daily operation of the Engineering Department. This position supports and acts as the Director of Engineering in their absence, serving as the primary day‑to‑day leader for the team. The role includes direct oversight of **front‑of‑house (FOH) maintenance, repair, aesthetics, and guest‑facing spaces** , ensuring that all public areas, lobby spaces, restaurants, meeting areas, and guest interaction points are maintained to Hyatt’s high brand standards. This leader ensures a safe, well‑maintained, and operationally excellent environment through proactive inspection, maintenance planning, team development, and strong collaboration with other departments.
