Assistant Controller

Description Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join their growing finance team in Alabaster, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting detail oriented who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in financial reporting, operational accounting, and process improvement. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations, including cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts. Manage and reconcile quarterly physical inventory counts. Perform daily and monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
