Responsibilities:

• Assist the Utilities Services Manager/Chief Engineer with operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems equipment and facilities to provide reliable utility support to all HCC industrial processes and facility requirements.
• Oversee equipment including HVAC, boilers, chillers, steam turbines and engines, gas compression systems, air compressors, purified water systems, and associated mechanical and electrical systems in power generation.
• Supervise onsite Operating Engineers (2nd Class, 3rd Class, 4th Class, and Co‑op positions).
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of a 1st Class high‑pressure steam plant, including cogeneration systems, boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, ammonia refrigeration, and air scrubbers.
• Plan, schedule, and direct 2nd Class Operating Engineers and external contractors in corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
