Assistant Chief Engineer

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our Engineering Team as the Assistant Powerhouse Chief at Highbury Canco Corporation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of a 1st Class high‑pressure steam plant, including cogeneration systems, boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, ammonia refrigeration, air scrubbers, and related equipment.
• Support the planning, scheduling, and direction of 2nd Class Operating Engineers and external contractors in carrying out corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
• Ensure all required operational logs, utilities logs, records, and CFIA/quality documentation are completed, reviewed, and properly maintained for audit and compliance.
• Support the Chief Engineer in maintaining compliance with Ontario TSSA regulations and assist with required inspections and regulatory requirements.
