Assistant Chef

Location: Repton Senior, with flexibility to cover at Repton Prep if needed.

Reporting to: Chef Manager / House Chef

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.

Salary: £14.42 per hour

Job Introduction

Repton is seeking an Assistant Chef to join our dedicated catering team in delivering a first‑class catering service. You’ll play a key role in preparing and serving fresh, nutritious, and imaginative dishes that meet the needs of our pupils, staff, and visitors—all while maintaining high standards of quality and working within budget parameters.

Flexibility is essential, as the role involves supporting a variety of catering operations across the School—including the Prep School, boarding houses, and outdoor events.
