Assistant, Building Technician

About the Role

Regional Property Services Inc. is seeking an Assistant, Building Technician to join our team at 2045 Portobello Blvd., Ottawa, ON K4A 5P7.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform suite turnover: remove trash, drywall repairs, painting, replace/repair fixtures such as door handles, cabinet hardware, blinds, light fixtures, assess and repair appliances as needed, assist cleaning team with general cleanup after turnover.
• Ensure all work meets community standards and follows safety regulations.
• Perform general maintenance and repair for community systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) under the direction of the Maintenance Technician.
• Report preventative maintenance needs or major repairs to Maintenance Technician and assist with repairs.
• Assist with routine work orders from residents.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to support after‑hours needs.
