About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Food & Beverage Department, the Assistant Bar Manager is responsible for leading the bar team and delivering exceptional service to guests. The Assistant Bar Manager reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Bar Operations Manual, including policies, procedures, and service standards aligned with LQE.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the bar experience, taking prompt and appropriate action to resolve any concerns.
  • Ensure guest expectations are consistently met through efficient, personalized, and professional service.
  • Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation of the bar meet MOHG standards.
