General Function:
The Assistant Area Assessor assists the Lead Pilot and Trainer in surveying and mapping using drone technology on all tobacco areas in Region 1.
Specific Function:
- Assists the Lead Pilot and Trainer in performing repairs, maintenance, tests, and other relevant activities to ensure suitability of drones to field conditions and area requirements.
- Assists in monitoring supply levels of materials and spares for the drones and ensures all materials are available for the efficient run of area mapping and regular drone use.
