We're working with a growing organisation based in Harrogate as they look to expand their finance team with an Assistant Accountant. This newly created role has been developed to support financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, and business integration projects. Key responsibilities:
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
Prepare and post journals to ensure accurate financial records.
Review, validate, and reconcile financial data across multiple systems.
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
Support budget preparation, maintenance, and reporting activities.
