Job Description
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for providing reports and ensuring integrity of financial statements. This resource will be in charge of identifying and addressing accounting issues; in addition to ensuring that assets, liabilities and earnings are properly documented and compliant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Routine Analysis of Financial Reporting: Review monthly variance analyses of month-to-date, quarter-to–date and year-to–date financials against prior periods and budgets/forecasts, working with country Controllers to obtain explanations.Monthly close process: accounting issues status update, production of monthly/ quarterly financial information by market, review and summarize financial templates.Assists local financial personnel with updating controls documentation.Assists to RCT in quarterly closing activities: Business SOX Controls, Account Reconciliation and Analysis, Variances, etc. as needed.Add Hoc projects...
