Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an established organisation based in Radley (Abingdon) to recruit an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will receive a salary of up to £35,000 plus attractive benefits including hybrid remote working and free lunch!

Primary responsibilities;

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the purchase and sales ledger functions.
  • Process supplier invoices, credit notes and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRC requirements.
  • Ensure VAT is accounted for correctly across all transactions.
  • Manage daily banking activities, including processing receipts and payments.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
