An exciting opportunity exists to join Victim Assist Queensland as a Assessor based in South Brisbane.

The Assessor will be appointed by the chief executive as a Government Assessor under the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 2009 (Section 128). This position reports to the Team Leader, Financial Assistance and will:

  1. Perform functions as required under the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 2009.
  2. Undertake evidence-based decision making in line with legislative intent to provide financial assistance to victims of crime.
