Overview
Crown is looking for an Assembly/Rack Fabrication Technician to fabricate, assemble, and perform testing procedures, including creating radio communication racks and sending out shipments of various rack configurations. The Technician will work with other team members to ensure projects are correct and schedules are met for shipments to the client. The Technician will be responsible for both mechanical hardware assembly and electronic assembly, and for movement and storage. Repetitive heavy lifting will be required. The work of the Technician is reviewed for technical adequacy and conformity with instructions.
Associated responsibilities include major subassemblies required to manufacture the 20 major radio racks produced at the Ontario facility. Subassemblies include: Roof panel; RF body; P1/P2 cables to Telco block; Telco pullout shelf; computer shelf; RF cables; AC harness tray; Data harness tray; Rack prep; staging rack for pre-assemblies.
