Assembly Process Engineer

Job Descriptions Conceptualize the assembly process either in semi-auto, fully automatic machines or multi-purpose fixtures for new products with both quality and cost considerations. Plan, execute and complete assembly process per the established timing and quality requirements. Assist or wholly responsible for design, coordinating fabrication, assembly, debug and test run the equipment. Spell out specifications and requirements for automation processes, source for vendors to quote, coordinate the projects, test run and qualify the machine using SPC tools and complete the final setup. Coordinate with machine vendors for all new machines. Assist the vendors and ensure completion date is met. Establish process parameters for all new assembly operations/machines and update all process specifications or issues before release to manufacturing.
