Assembly Operative

Location: Sunderland, England, North East

Type: Contract, Permanent, Temporary

Salary: £13.32 per hour (pay rate rises in stages)

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 15:00; Friday 08:00 to 13:00

Holiday: 25 days, increasing year on year

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Wiring
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Working to targets
  • Assembling various sized water pumps
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • PCB assembling
  • Attention to detail
  • Following instructions
  • Ability to work to deadlines and timescales
  • Quality assurance
  • Previous electrical and mechanical assembly experience
