Job Description
Sportsman Boats Mfg. is looking for Assembly Associates to work in the finished assembly department, wiring, installing motors and cushions, capping, rigging, and finishing our 20-35 ft center console boats. This is a full-time position. Our production schedule is Monday - Thursday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Hours may vary to meet production goals.
What you will do:
+ Pull wires, install equipment like Yamaha outboards, Garmin systems, stereo components, navigation systems, and other hardware to specification, meeting high-quality standards
+ Use basic hand tools and power equipment (miter saw, reciprocating saw, drill, driver, etc.)
+ Build T-tops and consoles
+ Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
+ Follow safety procedures
+ Maintain area tools and equipment
+ Able to read and interpret manufacturing schedules
+ Able to read and understand units of measure
