**Job Description**
This role focuses on assembling and finishing large sheet metal enclosures by accurately measuring, fitting, and securing components to create a high-quality final product. You work with sheet metal pieces, perform basic tack welding, and complete various finishing tasks to ensure each enclosure meets specifications and is ready for delivery.
**Responsibilities**
+ Measure and position sheet metal pieces, typically 10–15 feet in length, according to blueprints and shop drawings.
+ Perform small tack welds to temporarily secure components in place so welders can complete the final welds.
+ Button, bolt, and glue parts and hardware to the final product to ensure a secure and accurate assembly.
+ Add mechanical and electrical components to the enclosure as specified in drawings and work instructions.
