ASC/PDA Tutor


Job Details


We are seeking an experienced and patient Tutor to support a Year 7 student with an EHCP who is currently unable to attend school due to significant anxiety associated with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile.


This role requires a tutor who can build trust gradually, adapt their approach to the student’s individual needs, and provide a positive, low-pressure learning environment.

  • Location: DT4 Area

  • Rate: £25-£30 per hour

  • Hours: Initially 1 hour per day, Monday-Friday (5 hours per week)

  • Future Hours: Expected to increase to approximately 10 hours per week

  • Timings: Flexible

  • Setting: Home-based initially
