Job Description
Role: As400 Cobol Developer
Location: TRX-KL
Employment Type: Contract (1 Year)
Experience: 4+ Years
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using COBOL on AS400 (IBM i)
· Work with DB2/400, CL programs, and batch/online processes
· Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
· Perform unit testing, debugging, and production support
· Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and documentation
Requirements
· Strong experience in AS400 / IBM i
· Proficiency in COBOL, CL, and DB2/400
· Experience with batch processing and online programs
· Ability to troubleshoot and support production issues.
· Exposure to banking, insurance, or financial services systems
· Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM9, RM11,500.00 per month
