AS 400 Cobol Developer

We are looking for an experienced
AS400 / IBM i COBOL Developer
with strong hands-on expertise in
COBOL on AS400
environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications running on IBM i systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and maintain applications using
  COBOL on AS400 / IBM i
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform impact analysis and implement enhancements to existing COBOL programs
• Write efficient, well-structured, and maintainable COBOL code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and application issues
• Work with
  DB2/400
  for data access, queries, and performance tuning
• Handle batch and online programs, job scheduling, and error handling
• Support system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
