Artisan Assistant (Engineering)

Overview

Artisan Assistant (Engineering) for an established mining operation in Mooinooi, North West. This is a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will support Artisans with the maintenance, repair, installation and servicing of mining equipment and infrastructure. The role requires mining experience, familiarity with engineering tools and equipment, and a strong commitment to health and safety in a mining environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 1–2 years' experience as an Artisan Assistant, Engineering Assistant or in a similar engineering support role within the mining industry.
• Previous underground mining experience.
• Hands-on experience using engineering hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance, fabrication and engineering workshop practices.
• Medically fit to work on a mine site.
