Job Description

Thompson Construction Group has current openings for experienced Articulating Rock Truck Operators supporting operations in the Fort McMurray area. This role involves the safe and efficient hauling of material within active construction and mining worksites while maintaining high standards of safety, communication, and equipment care.


Responsibilities:

  • Safely haul and dump material to designated locations within the worksite

  • Operate articulating rock truck in a smooth, controlled, and efficient manner

  • Perform pre-operational and routine equipment inspections, including tires, fluids, lights, and brakes

  • Report equipment defects or maintenance concerns promptly

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, and other operators using two-way radio

  • Maintain awareness of surrounding equipment, personnel, and site conditions
