Art Therapist

As an Art Therapist, you use creative expression to support young children’s emotional well-being, helping them communicate feelings, build confidence, and develop positive coping strategies. Through structured therapeutic sessions, you guide pupils in exploring their emotions safely, fostering a nurturing environment where every child can grow socially, emotionally, and creatively.
Prospero Teaching is looking for a caring and skilled Art Therapist (qualified or experienced) to work in a welcoming and supportive infant school in Basingstoke. You will work with individual pupils and small groups who may benefit from additional therapeutic support due to emotional, social, or behavioural challenges.
This part-time role is ideal for those passionate about using creativity as a tool for emotional development within a school setting.
