Art Teacher

Up to £55,277 + Excellent Benefits.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach across a range of subjects within the Design and Technology curriculum, including Food Technology, Design & Technology and Art. Teachers will work with children and young people who have Autism Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, supporting their learning, development and self‑esteem. This role requires resilience and dedication, as they help pupils achieve small victories that have a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across the Design and Technology curriculum.
• Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s and other communication needs.
• Provide a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with psychologists, teaching assistants, therapists and leadership.
