Position Summary:

The Area Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of custodial services as outlined in the schedule of Operations at facilities to which he or she is assigned.

• Train, coach, guide and directly supervise assigned personnel.
• Plan and organize all custodial operations.
• Perform continuous inspections of facility areas taking appropriate actions as needed to resolve sub-standard or non- conforming performances.
• Continually evaluate methods, procedures, processes and materials to improve performance and reduce operating cost.
• Establish and maintain effective employee relations.
• Allocate work as needed due to shortages or special requirements or events.
