About the Role
We are supporting a global Contract Service Organization specializing in viral safety testing and GMP cell bank characterization for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients is hiring its first Area Sales Manager to lead expansion across India.
This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role for someone who wants to build a market rather than manage one. Expect up to 50% travel with partial remote flexibility.
What You'll Own
- Drive the full sales cycle — from prospecting and forecasting to formal proposals and closing
- Own client relationships end-to-end, coordinating with global technical and delivery teams across regions to ensure a seamless experience
- Represent the company at key industry events and technical conferences across India
- Build out sales infrastructure — reporting, pipeline tracking, and market intelligence — as one of the region's founding commercial hires
