Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for an Area Planner at its Mansfield, Ohio facility. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory records of spare part inventories; expedite the procurement and/or repair processes for parts required to maintain or repair machinery and equipment.
Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Evaluates part requirement for emergency repair or maintenance operations
+ Maintain parts file for department records and replacement spare parts; establish stocking levels of spare parts
+ Maintains mechanical drawing files
+ Maintains computerized preventive / predictive maintenance program
+ Responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance orders and receiving purchase orders
+ Conduct safety and quality audit / observations / inspections within the department to detect existing or potential accident hazards, or quality defects.
