Job Overview

Reporting to the Design and Drafting Manager, as the Architectural Technologist you will create and review designs and drawings to facilitate the construction of new homes. You also provide technical information and knowledge that supports profitable business decisions.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

  • Understanding and ensuring architectural and structural requirements, elements, building codes and by-laws are followed.
  • Completing documentation packages, requesting and producing drawings sets and maintaining standard model plan library.
  • Applying for development and building permits.
  • Preparing and submitting drawings to building consultants for designs/approvals and/or applying for building approvals from the developer’s consul...
