Approval to Teach

Please follow the 'Apply now' link to apply for employment as a Casual Teacher. Please note that casual approval does not guarantee employment with Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong, though it makes you eligible to work casually as a Teacher within Catholic schools in the Diocese of Wollongong.

To complete the application form the following requirements are essential:

• Accreditation from NESA, you must have a valid accreditation from the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). If you haven't registered yet, you can apply directly through the NESA website.
• A NESA recognised teaching qualification
• A current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). 
• Proof of identification 
• Satisfactory professional referee checks
• Satisfactory completion of the CEDoW employment declaration
