Role Summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (Eastern) Operating Theatres is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our innovative and supportive theatre team as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) Apprentice.

As an Apprentice ODP, you will work towards becoming a Registered Operating Department Practitioner by completing a BSc (Hons) in Operating Department Practice and achieving HCPC registration. ODPs are registered healthcare professionals who specialise in anaesthetics, surgery, and post-anaesthetic care, providing high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals across all age groups.

The Apprentice ODP will undertake a structured apprenticeship programme aligned with the Integrated Degree Apprenticeship Standards for Operating Department Practice.
