Title: Applications Engineer Position Summary: This position performs engineering work related to researching, sizing, and testing new products, components, or portions of power system solutions. This position is crucial in interpreting and calculating equations efficiently and effectively.Key Accountabilities:
  • Specify, size, and select subsystem components for power systems designs according to Engineering Guidelines
  • Test and validate top level power systems as well as sub-level power system components
  • Contribute toward design of new product via product sizing and selection
  • Review and verify product performance via testing
  • Assess reliability performance of product versus requirement
  • Analyzes proposals submitted to determine if benefit derived and possible applications justify expenditures
  • Post-process test data and develop engineering reports
