Role Overview: The Application Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of business applications in production environments. This role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of live systems, working closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor production applications to ensure uptime, stability, and performance
· Investigate and resolve application errors, failures, and user-reported issues
· Perform incident management, including root cause analysis and post-incident reports
· Analyze application logs, system metrics, and database queries
· Provide L2/L3 support and escalate complex issues to development teams
· Support application deployments, releases, and hotfixes
