At Nouryon, we are seeking an experienced Scientist within Mining Applications to strengthen our R&D organization. The role is based in Brazil, Itupeva, and involves working on mineral agglomeration, leaching, water management, and other mining applications in a global setting.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, plan, execute, and lead advanced R&D and application development projects.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert (SME) in mineral agglomeration, leaching, mining water management, and related applications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate innovation opportunities and market needs into development activities.
  • Support customers and internal teams with deep application expertise.
  • Build and maintain strong scientific networks within industry and academia.
  • Mentor, coach, and empower colleagues to build capability and knowledge.
