Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive the Design Review (Launch) Process by working with the required Dana groups to ensure activities are successfully completed to support the program according to program timing.
- Lead program(s) through critical launch and production issues.
- Engineering responsibility for customer product development, often working on multiple programs at the same time.
- Use Application Analysis tool to develop appropriate products (typically driveshaft U joint series and tube and axle model/gear) sizing for vehicle application.
- Perform technical problem solving to urgently address issues quickly.
- Develop design proposals to meet customer specifications and test requirements.
