Application Engineer

Overview

Design, test and release production seatbelt system designs. Manage the release of the design through the Autoliv design change process. This position requires the ability to manage customer relationships related to product development and implementation. Engineering background with strong problem-solving skills, hands-on development, testing, sample builds, teardowns, developing fixtures for testing and new test methodology. Active member of a cross-functional team of design engineers, purchasing, quality, process and launch engineers. Work closely with Program Management as the point of contact to customers. Release internal component drawings, assembly drawings and customer drawings.
