Mills Recruitment is supporting a leading regional financial services institution in Malaysia to hire an Application Database Administrator (Oracle). This role is responsible for managing Oracle application databases, performance tuning, batch monitoring, and database security. The Application Database Administrator ensures high availability and stability of critical financial and compliance systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Personnel's responsibility as an application database administrator (DBA) will be to ensure application related critical patches, database security patches are up to date.
Ensure the database performance is as expected, plan out housekeeping activities and execute them in a timely manner to prevent any disruption to the business due to lack of space or any other database issues.
To monitor the database performance during month end batch execution to ensure SLAs are met.
To advise the developers on any long-running jobs and advice on any execution...
