Join Apex Utilities as an Engineer in Training, where you'll enhance your engineering skills focused on project life cycles and facility design. Work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
This position reports to a Senior Engineer within the Operations & Engineering department. You will need a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and be E.I.T eligible to engage fully in responsibilities including design work, cost forecasting, and project leadership. Your input will help shape the Standards Practice Manual.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design for ground facilities
• Recommend efficient system routing
• Lead project life cycles effectively
• Provide comprehensive cost forecasts
• Assist in revising Standard Practice documents
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Engineering, preferred disciplines
• E.I.T registration eligibility with APEGA
• 0-4 years of relevant experience
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License
• CAD Drafting software knowledge
