Job Description
- Manage and maintain Cassandra database clusters, including configuration, adding/removing nodes, upgrading, and decommissioning data centers.
- Apply deep understanding of Cassandra architecture concepts including cluster structure, partitioning, read/write paths, replication, and tunable consistency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Cassandra databases to ensure high availability and performance for mission-critical, customer-facing applications.
- Support daily operations including job monitoring, incident resolution, and issue fixings.
- Work with Linux systems in large-scale environments (100+ servers).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and apply CI/CD practices to build and run infrastructure products.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
