 Job Role:

Operates AOI equipment to inspect PCBs post-reflow for component and solder quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load AOI programs and verify correct board orientation.
  • Inspect components for placement, polarity, solder joint integrity.
  • Analyze AOI defects: missing components, tombstoning, shorts, opens, polarity issues.
  • Segregate OK and NG boards and maintain traceability.
  • Perform first-article validation before bulk inspection.
  • Edit and optimize AOI inspection parameters when required.
  • Clean and maintain AOI machine cameras and lighting modules.
  • Prepare daily inspection and rejection reports.
