Analytical Technician

THE ROLE

Provide analytical testing assistance for required testing to support the Johann Schumacher Laboratory (JSL) to meet the testing requirements from R&D, Quality, Engineering and Customers’ testing inquiry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Report to the Lab Manager and work with a team of scientists/engineers and technicians in a laboratory environment.
• Perform Cross-Section sample preparation, analysis with Microscopy, as well as thermal, rheological, and mechanical testing.
• Be responsible for efficient, timely and accurate laboratory testing service with accountability for objectives, schedules and work performed.
• Document testing results in test reports such that the results are accurate and meet customer requirements.
• Perform other related lab duties as assigned.
