Financial Control is responsible for directing the organization’s financial control and areas of focus include financial reporting on accounting.

Developing and maintaining planning and budgeting systems, the preparation of financial and management reports and procedures, and the presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management.

Analyzing and interpreting trends requiring management’s attention.

Duties may also include training and managing other accounting staff.

A Senior Specialist applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
• Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
