Job Description

Role:

  • Clutch and clutch release system design, development and evaluation for automobiles

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and development of automotive transmission clutch and release system
  • Vehicle layout of clutch, clutch cables, pipes, and other clutch release system components (both manual and hydraulic)
  • Clutch part level evaluation
  • Vehicle level clutch performance and NVH tuning
  • Analysis of market problems/failures related to clutch and clutch release system including detrimental effects on vehicle performance

Competency Requirements:

Technical / Functional:

  • Proficient in CAD and drafting – preferably Uni-graphics
  • Proficient in designer CAE
  • Knowledge of project management system / Engg. BOM system
  • Knowledge of clutch release system specification design based on vehicle requirements
