Qualifications: People who come from a background in skilled trade professions and are mechanically inclined, with a customer service mindset. Technical or trade school background. Previous field experience is a big plus, like cabling, wiring, residential installations, or working for Best Buy Geek Squad. Day-to-day duties: They will receive training on and be doing the following: 1. Installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and programming of Burglar Alarms, CCTV (IP & Analog), DVRs, and Access Control Systems for residential customers. They will also convert older systems to new systems. 2. Working with window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors. 3. Troubleshooting signal issues to ensure the alarm functions properly if needed. 4. Perform daily hands-on field interaction with customers at the site level and some smaller customer care levels. 5. Test and verify signals for equipment 6. Train customers on using the equipment and how to connect to the devices and...
