Position Summary

As part of the AJISS Coastal Support team, the Technical Specialist – Electrical will support the Royal Canadian Navy Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPV) and Joint Support Ship (JSS) class vessels managed by Thales under the AOPS & JSS In‑Service Support (AJISS) contract. Accountable to the Resource Manager – Coastal Support but responsive to the Coastal Engineering Services Manager, the Technical Specialist supports the Service Delivery and Engineering teams with corrective maintenance, engineering changes, certification management and planned maintenance changes as they relate to various electrical issues. The incumbent also frequently liaises with ship staff and Fleet Maintenance Facilities (FMF) work centers.

This role is hybrid in Halifax, NS and the candidate is expected to spend the majority of on‑site time in the dockyard.
