Location: Halifax - Wilkinson, Canada

Position Summary

This hybrid position supports the Royal Canadian Navy Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPV) and Joint Support Ship (JSS) class vessels under the AJISS In‑Service Support contract. The Technical Specification Writer works with the Service Delivery and Engineering teams to write specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs) for corrective maintenance of marine mechanical systems, ensuring that Class Societies and objective quality evidence (OQE) are captured and that all documentation meets regulatory standards.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop Work Instructions and Statements of Work (SOW) to support the resolution of defects
  • Liaise with OEMs, service providers, FMF work centre and ship staff to understand the nature of defects to be resolved
