Aircraft Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Work with a Senior/Specialist Interior Designer to create and coordinate Defense Interior presentation and specification packages from concept through execution.
• Prepare, release, revise, and maintain Defense Interior design documentation, including specifications, material definition documents, sample records, supplier documentation, and project deliverables.
• Manage a high volume of complex project assignments.
• Research and gather project information, including aircraft history, customer requirements, prior selections, and interior/exterior definition.
• Coordinate material selections, sample availability, procurement needs, technical suitability, and flammability/performance requirements.
• Build and maintain the Defense sample library, including approved materials, finishes, softgoods, veneers, carpets, and related product references.
