The Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of air conditioning (AC) systems and related equipment to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

Installation:

Install new air conditioning units, ductwork, and ventilation systems according to manufacturer specifications and building codes.

Connect electrical wiring and control systems to AC equipment.

Maintenance:

Conduct regular preventive maintenance on AC units, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters.

Inspect system components to identify wear and tear or potential failures.

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues in AC systems.
