Air Compressor Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Air Compressor Operator is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of air compressors to ensure consistent supply of compressed air for production and equipment use.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate, monitor, and adjust air compressor systems to maintain required pressure levels.
• Inspect gauges, detect air leaks, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Service, clean, and repair compressors and related pipelines.
• Ensure safe handling of equipment and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain records, collect data for reports, and keep the workplace clean.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to follow technical instructions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and compressor operations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
