Job Description

We are building a productized AI voice call-handling and booking system for service-based small and medium businesses (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, etc.).
This is not a basic VoIP setup. We are creating a repeatable, scalable AI automation system that:
Answers inbound calls using conversational AI
Qualifies leads dynamically
Routes or books appointments
Sends SMS confirmations
Logs data to CRM
Handles after-hours scenarios
Manages conversational edge cases
We are looking for a workflow-first engineer who understands how to architect reliable voice automation systems — not just someone who can connect APIs.
Ideal experience:
Twilio or similar telephony platforms
OpenAI API or other LLM integrations
Voice AI platforms (Retell, VAPI, Bland, etc.)
Webhooks & REST API integrations
Zapier / Make or similar automation tools
CRM integrations
Managing latency and production reliability
